Attracting New Patients More Efficiently with PPC Advertising
Dr. Wesley Myers is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving The Woodlands and Conroe, Texas. He supports patients with cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, post-weight loss procedures, and non-surgical treatments, such as laser resurfacing. His marketing goals include reaching new patients as they began exploring procedures and practices.
Myers Plastic Surgery had invested pay-per-click advertising (PPC) as one means for connecting with its audience. However, the PPC campaign was converting a low number of people who saw the advertisements into clicks and contacts, and the cost was outpacing the return. In addition, visitors who came to the site to research the practice did not regularly return to schedule an appointment.
Among other marketing activities, Firm Media revamped Dr. Myers’ PPC campaign. We limited the campaign to phrases more aligned with the practice’s audience; eliminated poorly performing keywords; and developed and wrote content for PPC landing pages. Our strategy was to attract more of the right audience, cut out parts of the campaign that weren’t returning results, and provide the right information to website visitors. We also implemented a retargeting campaign to keep Myers Plastic Surgery in front of those who visited the practice’s website.
